At Laiterie Charlevoix, discover how the region’s different cheeses are made. Shop windows looking into the working area allow you to see the artisans at work. Thus, you will be able to see the main steps involved in making the Fleurmier (soft cheese), the Vieux Charlevoix (cheddar aged up to 5 years), gruyère made from Jersey milk and their famous daily fresh curd cheddar.
The dairy also offers a guided tour that will demystify the manufacture of its products, and an exhibit featuring ancient cheesemaking tools and the history of the dairy and cheese industries in Québec.
