Centre de l’émeu de Charlevoix

Le Centre de l'émeu de Charlevoix is the largest emu farm in Canada (more than 400 animals). It integrates all phases of an ecological production that excludes growth hormones, antibiotics and animal flours. The Centre markets a full range of 14 body care products with a pure emu oil base as well as 28 emu meat products.

Pure emu oil is gaining a growing reputation for its anti-inflammatory, moisturizing and healing qualities. Emu meat is a red meat with a delicate flavour. It is lean and nourishing.

Plan a visit to this unique farm where you will learn about the various products derived from the emu, a rare bird indeed. Boutique on site. New for 2009: Tastings of emu meat under the tepee
